Jaiku updates

Twitter is not offering the sms service anymore from the UK number. So we plan on using Jaiku as a proof of concept for a means of updating participants before, during, and after our events. Jaiku is a great service, that allows you to follow friends by way of mobile phone (SMS), instant message, or the Web. Here's a quick tutorial on how to follow us on Jaiku:

• If you don't have an account, tell us and we'll send you an invitation (epmeetup (at) gmail.com)
• Activate your mobile phone
• Go to the #2008epmeetup channel, and click "join" and make sure that notifications are turned "on" in your settings options
  
• You should now receive our SMS notifications to your mobile phone, so you'll know exactly where we're at and what's going on. Don't worry, we'll send out periodic test messages to make sure that you're following us
• The official user is epmeetup, but the organizers are: fransimo, ntfxs, marceloaurelio and inocuo. Each one of us will update from our users. But you only need to join the #2008epmeetup channel to receive all the updates.
