Twitter ignores me.

Yesterday I signed up to Twitter, I entedred my mobile number and sent some kind of validation code to the given number. I also chose to follow the meetup discussion and turned notifications on. Now someone posted a message about 40 minutes ago and I haven't received anything yet. My mobile number is correct, already checked that. The following/notification boxes on the ep meetup site are still turned on, too. Any ideas what might be the problem?

It may not be you, I've noticed that they've been up/down today and had a notice for scheduled maintenance.

As long as you validated your cell number by SMS'ing the code back to Twitter, and received the confirmation back (saying that it worked), you should be good.

I'll be happy to help anyone out tomorrow night.

Yep, looks like they're having some problems:

Our scheduled maintenance got off schedule. We're aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
